The Shared Revenues Partnership (SRP) are looking for a motivated and flexible person to join our busy Admin Team, SRP processes incoming correspondence for Ipswich, Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils. You will assist with opening post, scanning and indexing for Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefits and downloading notifications for benefits customers, preparing invoices for payment and raising purchase orders.

Reporting to the Scanning and Admin Team Leader, you will be required to work on a rota with two other team members, you will work together to process incoming communications from the public by a variety of methods (paper, online form and email). 

You will be able to work in a team, but also on your own initiative by making decisions about the priority of workload to ensure that all incoming work is dealt with on a date received basis.

You would ideally have experience of Revenues and Benefits based systems and Electronic Document Management systems and up to date knowledge of the General Data Protection Act 2018.

You should be an effective team player with good communication skills and ability to deal with changing priorities and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
