In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  1. Is responsible to achieve safety objectives in plant. 
  2. To deal with tooling management at supplier side. 
  3. Monitor the tooling lifecycle status and capital planning for the replacement of tooling.
  4. To train suppliers about the tooling knowledge for better maintenance of tooling. 
  5. To analyze the existing tooling and seeking for improvement to improve supplier productivity and product quality. 
  6. To conduct annual audit for the tooling and raise suggestion to supplier for improvement.
  7. Work with NPD team to responsible for manufacturing review (DFM) with the suppliers.
  8. To review the tooling cost and ensure to get the best cost.
  9. Ensure the tooling trial run at supplier site with reporting and analysis to validate for mass production, following the First Article issues.
  10. To provide production support including the daily operational performance, process control, handle engineering issues, solving for any abnormalities in production lines.
  11. To take part in continuous improvement projects (Lean, automation, digital…)
  12. To work with QA, purchasing on the suppliers’ annual audit and daily management.
  13. Comply with the ESH laws and regulations and internal ESH rules/instructions, actively participate in safety trainings, identify and take improvement actions to reduce or eliminate the risk/ hazard.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  1. Bachelor or above major in engineering or equivalent. 
  2. Good at Die Casting tooling issues. 
  3. Good at using the CAD, 3D drawing software. 
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  1. Fluent in English reading and writing. 
  2. One or more years’ experience in manufacturing or engineering field.
  3. One or more years’ experience in the Die casting tooling and machine related environment.
  4. To familiar with the injection molding process is preferred.
